At the end of each semester AMA sponsors a food drive that will be donated to the Charleston Food Pantry. There are boxes out in Lumpkin, Carman, Thomas, Andrews, Lawson, Taylor and Stevenson. These boxes will be out until Thursday around 12:30. While your packing up, please remember the less fortunate people in the community.

Final Care Packages
With finals week vastly approaching, all of your families were sent a letter in the mail describing our current fund raising opportunity. Everyone should have received a letter stating that your parents can order a finals care package for you that you will receive during the week of finals.

T-shirt
Our AMA t-shirts are being ordered on Friday. If you would like to place an order, please email me with your name and size.
The t-shirts will be bright blue with black ink. The front will say 'Eastern Illinois University AMA' in the top right corner and the attached image will be on the back.
IMPORTANT: Your order will only be processed if you pay by this THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18. Your $12 check or cash can be placed in the AMA mailbox of the student lounge or given to any of our executive committee members.

As mentioned during previous membership meetings, all AMA members are invited to join exec in listening to and discussing a new podcast series by AMA Nationals, "Social Media Marketing GPS: To help you build a road map to social media success."

Membership Meeting
Our next membership meeting will be held tomorrow October 19 at 6:15pm in Lumpkin Room 2011. Upcoming events and activities will be discussed and pizza/soda will be provided! We will also be voting on t-shirt designs for this year and creating Halloween cards for residents at the local nursing home. Hope to see you there!

Etiquette Dinner
Want to learn how to network while also improving your fine dining skills? The Americarn Marketing Association is proudly hosting an Etiquette Dinner Thursday October 21st taking place at the Charleston Country Club. Participants will need to meet at Human Resources 1301 (Career Services) by 4:45 on the day of the event. There will be shuttle bus's transporting us to the Country Club so no one needs to worry about driving. This Etiquette Dinneis not only an event that is a fund raiser to support AMA but this is also a time where students can sit down with a successful employer and learn the ways of networking. Tickets are going to be sold for $20 and the checks need to be made out to the American Marketing Association and dropped off in mailbox one in Lumpkln Lounge BY OCTOBER 13TH. Business casual attire is required. There is 15 spots available and 8 seats have already been filled so if this is something that you would be interested in attending, please act fast!
