AMA Podcast Series

As mentioned during previous membership meetings, all AMA members are invited to join exec in listening to and discussing a new podcast series by AMA Nationals, "Social Media Marketing GPS: To help you build a road map to social media success."

This is a great opportunity to get a glimpse into what today's top social media thought leaders are thinking when it comes to digital strategy.  As students, there's no better time than now to begin preparing ourselves for the real-world and getting a better understanding of the trends and strategies used by today's top businesses.

Membership Meeting

Our next membership meeting will be held tomorrow October 19 at 6:15pm in Lumpkin Room 2011. Upcoming events and activities will be discussed and pizza/soda will be provided! We will also be voting on t-shirt designs for this year and creating Halloween cards for residents at the local nursing home. Hope to see you there!

Etiquette Dinner

Want to learn how to network while also improving your fine dining skills?  The Americarn Marketing Association is proudly hosting an Etiquette Dinner Thursday October 21st taking place at the Charleston Country Club.  Participants will need to meet at Human Resources 1301 (Career Services) by 4:45 on the day of the event.  There will be shuttle bus's transporting us to the Country Club so no one needs to worry about driving.  This Etiquette Dinneis not only an event that is a fund raiser to support AMA but this is also a time where students can sit down with a successful employer and learn the ways of networking.  Tickets are going to be sold for $20 and the checks need to be made out to the American Marketing Association and dropped off in mailbox one in Lumpkln Lounge BY OCTOBER 13TH.  Business casual attire is required. There is 15 spots available and 8 seats have already been filled so if this is something that you would be interested in attending, please act fast!
